Reality: UN-149 refers to the mainstream reality of Chapter 6: Mini Season 2: A reality featuring a condensed version of Springfield, created as a result of a merge between Reality: 783 and Springfield's reality.

The Island[]

Springfield Island is the result of the merger between both realities, taking on attributes of both Springfield and 783's Oninoshima. Several iconic locations from The Simpsons are present, such as the town square, the neighborhood, and the nuclear power plant.

History[]

Chapter 6: Season 4[]

Welcome, Our Alien Overlords[]

While the Dark Presence finally managed to enter Oninoshima, after Jones' modified Rift Device failed to seal him within the Spirit Realm, Kang and Kodos became infatuated with the demon and attempted to assist him. However, after abducting Hope and Jones, their ship was overtaken and used to attack the demon. In retaliation, the Dark Presence seized control of the vessel and hurled them into a wormhole he created, leading to an unknown Reality. During the chaos, Hope and Jones tried to retrieve the Shard, but only managed to grasp a fragment of it.

As Kodos attempted to recalibrate the wormhole to reach Springfield, Hope redirected it toward Oninoshima, resulting in an unforeseen incident — the fusion of Reality: 783 with Springfield's Reality. Soon after, a Battle Bus collided with the UFO, causing Jones to lose the Shard, which ultimately ended up in Homer Simpson's possession.

Homer ignored the warning about the Shard and fused it to his remote and after discovering its Reality Warping powers, decided to use it to "help" Springfield Island inhabitants. Hope and Jones then started to search for Homer, trying to get the Shard again.
