The Red-Eye Assault Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 1.
Red-Eye Assault Rifle has an Exotic variant called Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle.
Functionality[]
The Red-Eye Assault Rifle slow firing, fully automatic rifle with good damage. It is aimed in first person, and must be unscoped to reload.
The Red-Eye Assault Rifle is a hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy enabled. It can be reloaded whilst aiming.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 50 meters (10 tiles).
- Damage steadily decreases down to 88% of its maximum at 75 meters (15 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 80% of its maximum at 95 meters (19 tiles).

Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.- The Red-Eye Assault Rifle is a slow firing but heavy hitting Assault Weapon like the Heavy Assault Rifle and Ranger Assault Rifle. So it is preferable to use at medium range but is also effective at long range as it has a red dot sight.
- Due to it being an Assault Rifle, it benefits from the First Assault augment. This gives it more damage on the first shot and allows it to function as a pseudo-DMR due to its high accuracy.
- Despite its high damage, the fire rate of the Red-Eye Assault Rifle makes it generally unsuited to destroying structures.
