Red Steel Bridge was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Chapter 2: Season 1 to the island Apollo. It was a large red bridge that crossed a river leading to The Aftermath. The location was found in-between Pleasant Park and Boney Burbs, inside coordinate D3. It was one of five Steel Bridges around the map.

Update v11.00[]

  • Red Steel Bridge was added to the map.

Update v13.00[]

  • Red Steel Bridge was partially flooded over

Update v13.20[]

  • July 1st, 2020 - The water level decreased and the upper portion of the bridge has been uncovered. The bottom part of the bridge, however, is still covered in water.
  • July 11th - The water level decreased again and the bottom part of the bridge can now be walked on again.

Update v15.00[]

  • Red Steel Bridge is now surrounded by sand.

Update v16.00[]

  • Red Steel Bridge is no longer surrounded by sand.

Content Update v18.40[]

  • November 27th 2021 - Red Steel Bridge and the land around it is fully covered over by The Cube Queen's corruption.

  • Red Steel Bridge is the only steel bridge of the 5 on the island that was surrounded by sand during Chapter 2: Season 5.
  • It is one of five named bridges on the island that are all similar save for the color of the steel in the bridges. The colors of those named bridges are Purple, Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue.
