Character Trivia[]
- Through special dialogue, Rick seems to have a connection with Bushranger. Exactly whether he is a friend or a foe to Rick is unknown.
- Rick seems to be interested in slurp and shields, and in how to make slurp himself. A single line of dialogue refers to "some banana" who is also doing so. Whether this is an insult or is referring to Peely is unknown.
- Much of Rick's dialogue are references.
- In one of the Uncommon quests, Rick specifically mentions interdimensional cable, a technology prominently featured in the episodes "Rixty Minutes" and "Interdimensional Cable 2: Tempting Fate."
- Rick's constant belching is a reference to his speech patterns in the show, as he constantly burps and belches in between lines.
- Through quest dialogue, he seems to be the only character that knows he’s in a video game, as he mentions that the quest you completed was worth the XP. This coincides with the show, as he seems to be one of the only self-aware characters in the series, as he often breaks the fourth wall.
- Rick is the second character in the game to have broken the fourth wall, after Deadpool.
- Rick's whiteboard at Defiant Dish and Corny Complex had teasers for upcoming episodes of the show at the time.
