Ride The Lightning is an uncategorized Mythic Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was added in Chapter 5: Season 3.

Functionality[]

The Ride The Lightning Guitar transforms the player into a bolt of lightning, upon using, the player will shoot to the sky, and will have the ability to dash twice in any direction chosen. Upon the second dash's completion, the player will then dash back down, making an electric shockwave upon landing.

Snippets of Ride the Lightning by Metallica will play in the background as the player dashes in the air.

Ride The Lightning can be used to escape from enemies but be careful as it leaves a rift behind that lets other players use Ride The Lightning as well.
Though tricky to aim, the divebomb can be used to attack unsuspecting enemies with its explosive landing, this can then be combo'd with another weapon, such as a Shotgun.
