Template:Infobox locationRisky Reels is a location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was located in the top right corner of the map. It was added at the start of Season 4, removed in Season 7, got a miniature version in Season X, and returned in Chapter 2: Season 1 as one of the Named Locations. It had 14 chests in Chapter 1 and 10 in Chapter 2.

Season 4

Risky Reels featured a small crater (similar to the one at Dusty Divot, but not as large) in the center of the area surrounded by trucks. It had a similar 'Movie' theme to Moisty Mire and offered small huts and houses on the outskirts of the area. It was noteable for the giant cinema screen located at the front of the location, as this was where the cinematic 'Season 4 Trailer' was filmed.

Season 6

Additionally, in the game files, you could find a short video of Ralph from "Wreck-It Ralph" walking into the frame from the side, waving at the camera, and then walking off. This "film" could be seen displayed at Risky Reels on the movie screen. Showing time of the movie was random, and did not display in some matches.

Season 7

During The Game Awards 2018, it was revealed that Risky Reels has been crushed by the new and now-gone The Block. Rapscallion and Carbide tried to escape the outbreak, but ended up being killed by the crashing of The Block, as the season's Battle Pass skins visit to inspect.

Season X

A miniature version of Risky Reels was located in Sunny Steps, and was there until “The End”.

Chapter 2: Season 1

West of Frenzy Farm is Risky Reels. But it didn’t look the same as before.

Other Chapter 1 locations that made it to Chapter 2 include Pleasant Park, Retail Row, and Salty Springs.

On Week 6, the projector has been tested out, showing a llama on the screen. Many adjustments are made on the projector.

The giant movie screen has been taken down in Week 9, but a stage appears in its place.

On December 14, 2019, director J.J. Abrams visited the island to reveal a scene premiere from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as part of the collaboration.

Chapter 2: Season 2

During Week 7, Epic began testing the projector for the second time, but we didn't know for what until the next patch.

An in-game event called "Now Playing!" was featured in Risky Reels as part of the Fortnite x Quibi Collaboration. This mode was quickly removed, however. It screened the first episodes of Punk'd's reboot and The Sauce. This was because of impossible showings during the COVID-19 crisis, as to what Chance the Rapper said.

Later this season, it was changed from a landmark into a point of interest once again.
