Rocket Drill is a Utility Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 6: Season 2.
The Rocket Drill has a Mythic version called Blitz Rocket Drill.
Functionality[]
The Rocket Drill's main function is to allow the player to fly through the air. The Rocket Drill deals 80 damage and knock enemies back when hit when landing. The Rocket can also destroy buildings and structures by rocketing through them.
A small meter next to the reticle will represent how much fuel is left. Once that meter is depleted, the Rocket Drill will stop working until the meter is slowly filled up again.
The Rocket Drill can also spin and damage any enemy withing a short range.

- Ramming with the Rocket Drill deals much more damage to opponents than drilling, while also allowing you to fly, escaping risky engagements.
- Drilling an Alpha Bank vault's weak spots can speed up a Heist.
- When used to break through a wall, quickly pull out your shotgun to surprise your opponent.

- The Rocket Drill can leave an opponent wielding it vulnerable when in the air, so carrying a red dot Assault Rifle of sorts and using it to shoot the opponent out of the air can be beneficial.
