- — In-Game Description
The Rocket Ram is a Utility Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 4: Season 4.
The Rocket Ram has a Mythic variant called Blitz Rocket Ram.
Functionality[]
The Rocket Ram is a movement item. Upon being fired, the Rocket Ram does an Initial Thrust and takes about two or three seconds to charge and after charging, the Rocket Ram will launch the player in the direction they are looking. The distance the player travels depends on which direction is the player looks at, looking down or horizontally will launch the player 55 meters in that direction, while looking straight up will launch the player 50 meters in the air, and looking in an angled direction will launch the player different distances. If the player is launched into the air, they will begin free-falling where they are able to nudge the direction they are moving before hitting the ground, where the Rocket Ram will then go on cooldown.
During the Initial Thrust and upon hitting the ground, the Rocket Ram will do an Area of Effect (AOE) attack. The Initial Thrust has a radius of 3.8 meters[1] around the player (xy-axis) and 0.4 meters[2] above the player (z-axis), which hitting the ground has a radius of 8 meters[3] around the player (xyz-axis). Each AOE attack will damage entities and objects, with the exception of vehicles which are not affected by the AOE attack.
