Herald's Sanctum

Sanctuary was a Named Location added to Fortnite: Battle Royale in Chapter 3: Season 1. When it was added, it was one of the only locations not to be covered in snow, due to Winterfest. It is the base of The Seven. The Foundation can be found as a boss here, guarded by Seven Sentries.

Chapter 3: Season 1[]

Update v19.00: Added Sanctuary onto the island.
Update v19.01: A Christmas tree appeared at the location for Winterfest 2021.
Update v19.10: Removed Christmas tree.
Update v19.30: Added dead drop and space rocks for Season Quests.

Chapter 3: Season 2[]

Update v20.00: The Armored Battle Bus is funded through Donation Stations. The Origin can be found as a Character.

Chapter 3: Season 3[]

Update v21.00: Re-added the Seven Sentries, both Foundation and Origin no longer spawn here.

Update v21.30: Unpeely, Summer Drift, and Boardwalk Ruby can be found as Characters at the beach east of Sanctuary. Only one from the three is spawned per match.

Chapter 3: Season 4[]

Update v22.00: Sanctuary has been consumed by the Chrome and transformed into Herald's Sanctum.
