The Sandstorm Event was a series of Mini-Live Events followed by a Major Live-Event in Chapter 5: Season 2. It was the buildup events leading to Chapter 5: Season 3.
Buildup[]
In Chapter 5: Season 2 Story Quests: After Zeus was defeated, The Oracle revealed that in truth, he was not tied to the prophecy of the darkened skies and choking dusts, and that our war has just begun. She reveals that The Wanderer, who seems related to the incoming disaster, draws near.
In Update v29.40, the two married frog statues at Lovely Lodge and The Explorers set up camps and telescopes around the island to monitor the upcoming events.

- 2:00 PM ET: The statue raised its sword and struck the Pandora's Box with red lightning, causing it to unleash something from it. The thing jumped onto the other island and became a huge sandstorm. The Pandora's Box sunk into the river.

- The statue's sword reused Infinity Blade sound effects.
- The pandora's box reused Cubes sound effects.
- The music during the event contain motifs from Zeus's boss music.
- The sandstorm's red lightning has flashings that translate to "NO HOPE", "GET REKT", "OUT OF CONTROL", "NO BRAKES", "WILDNESS" and "CASSATION" in morse code.
- On May 16th 2024 the regular Storm was put on hold for the duration of the event.
