The Scoped Burst SMG is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 4: Season 4.
Scoped Burst SMG has a Mythic variant called is Thorne's Scoped Burst SMG.
Functionality[]
The Scoped Burst SMG is a high fire rate, low damage Submachine Gun, that fires a 4-round burst. It's also equipped with a 1.5x magnification sight, which gives it perfect accuracy when Aiming Down Sights.
The Scoped Burst SMG is a hitscan weapon with First-Shot Accuracy enabled.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 45 meters (8.5 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 70% of its maximum at 75 meters (15 tiles).
The Scoped Burst SMG cannot be reloaded whilst aiming.

- The Scoped Burst SMG can be very deadly at medium-range, especially compared to other SMGs, due to its fast fire rate within bursts, and easy to control vertical kick.
- The Scoped Burst SMG, like most burst-fire weapons, can be very effective for quickly peeking from cover to fire at an enemy.
- Because of its serviceable hipfire accuracy and excellent ranged accuracy, the Scoped Burst SMG can be used in 2-weapon loadouts.
Counters[]
- As a trade-off for its high accuracy and usability, the Scoped Burst SMG, while still serviceable, has a weaker hipfire accuracy than most SMGs. A faster firing, more close-range oriented SMG will be more beneficial at these ranges.
- While it doesn't suffer as much against structures compared to other burst-fire weapons, the Scoped Burst SMG still isn't the most viable choice for taking out cover. Take advantage of this by placing builds or staying behind as much cover as possible.

Trivia[]
- The Scoped Burst SMG is modeled after the SIG MPX Copperhead configured with a green dot sight.
- This is the first Submachine Gun with an Optic.
- It is one of the only 3 guns in Fortnite to fire in four-round bursts, the other two being the regular Burst SMG, and the Epic to Mythic rarities of the EvoChrome Burst Rifle.
- For some reason, the Epic and Legendary rarities have identical stats, with the only difference being reload time.
- Scoped Burst SMG has the same scope magnification as the Tactical Assault Rifle.
- The Unreleased Mythic rarity has the same stats as the Thorne's Scoped Burst SMG.
