Item Shop Appearances[]

Scorpion (MK3) has appeared in 26 different Item Shops on 24 different days.

Why are there shops labelled as 'parts'?
For varying reasons, Epic Games may decide to add or remove items from the Item Shop before the usual rotation occurs. The Fortnite Wiki treats each change to the Item Shop within a single day as a separate 'part' that makes up the day's Item Shop History.
Why are there two different numbers for Scorpion (MK3)'s appearances?
Scorpion (MK3) has, on at least one occasion, appeared in more than one shop in a single day. This has resulted in its count for appearances in the Item Shop being higher than the amount of days it has appeared in it. Both counts are listed by the Fortnite Wiki in order to be as accurate as possible, unlike other sources.

Behavior[]

Scorpion is not initially on the island. Instead, his spawn location is indicated by his Medallion Icon being at one of the three locations.

If he is at one of the locations, a glowing gong will be present. To which the player can Ring or attack it to challenge Scorpion and summon him to the arena, spawning at the very center of each arena.

FIGHT[]

Scorpion will prioritize chasing his current target down if close enough to attack while occasionally taunting his target with a spinning sweep kick motion that does no damage when close by. While Scorpion is active, he will have light Ranged Weapon Resistance, but a weakness to Melee Weapons.

Special Abilities[]

  • Hell Port
    • Vanishes before suddenly appearing at his target's location and slamming his fist down, dealing 15 damage in an AoE and light knockback. Scorpion will only use this ability if the target is far from him.
      • Scorpion will always utilize this ability to get back up The Pit if hes knocked off the bridge.
  • Spear Throw
    • Readies his chain spear and hurls it at his target, dealing 5 damage and pulls the target towards him. Scorpion will prioritize using this ability twice when the target is far from him.
  • Devouring Flame
    • Channels hellfire at his target's location before detonating underneath them in a burst of flame, dealing 25 damage in a small AoE and light knockback. Scorpion will only use this ability when the target is far from him.

Trivia[]

  • Upon spawning and while taunting, Scorpion will perform his introductory animation from Mortal Kombat 1 (2023).
  • Scorpion's Boss music features remixes of the Mortal Kombat 3 (1995) soundtrack, specifically the Prologue and Attract Mode themes.
    • Though the music itself loops properly in-game, the files have an abnormal 1 second moment of silence between the end of the music and the actual end of the file.
  • Scorpion reuses the voicelines of Zeus and Hades. Using Zeus' grunts for a majority of his actions and Hades' Full Alert voicelines for Devouring Flame.
