Season 1 introduced progression to [[Fortnite: Battle Royale|Battle Royale]] by introducing the [[Season Shop]], where the player would be able to use [[V-Bucks]] to buy cosmetics that they unlocked by reaching a certain level. This was later replaced with the [[Battle Pass]] in [[Season 2]] and has never returned since.
