The Shadow Bomb is a Consumable in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Season 8.
Functionality[]
When used, the user will turn into a "shadow", emitting hard-to-see black particles, slightly revealing the user's location. The user, while in the "Shadow Bomb state", cannot interact with items, edit or place builds, or use a weapon or harvesting tool. When 6 seconds is over, there is a small delay before being able to do anything. A user can also press the jump button twice when beside walls, letting them wall jump. Wall jumping increases the duration of shrouding.

- When under the Effects, you can double jump and wall climb, which is very useful when sneaking up on enemies and moving around.
- As it makes the user almost invisible, the Shadow Bomb is great for rotating, especially when low.

Trivia[]
- The Epic internal ammo of the Shadow Bomb used to be obtainable in Creative by filling you inventory with Scoreboards or Timer traps and then it would drop on the floor when using the Shadow Bomb. When picked up you would become completely invisible and you were still able to use Guns and other items.
- You were also able to save it in Vending Machines but that was later patched.
