The Shadow Tracker is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 5.
The Shadow Tracker is the Exotic version of the Suppressed Pistol.
Functionality[]
The Shadow Tracker is functionally identical to the Suppressed Pistol, except hitting an opponent will temporarily 'mark' their location for every member of the squad. It does not highlight their outline, but provides a marker above the location of the target hit by the weapon.
Shadow Tracker is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

- The marking feature is incredibly useful for any engagement, as having a regular sight on where the enemy is exactly can aid with firing through structures and hitting the opponent, as well as knowing exactly when and where the enemy is going to peek from cover.
- The mark also puts the enemy into severe trouble during a group fight, creating the possibility of everyone focusing fire on the marked victim.
- The Shadow Tracker is also a very good Assault Rifle or SMG substitute, due to its decent accuracy, fast reload speed, and larger magazine than its regular Suppressed Pistol counterpart.
Counters[]
- While the Shadow Tracker may be a very useful option due to its marking capabilities, the Flare Gun, when shot in the air, can have the same effect, and also mark more than one opponent at once.

- The Shadow Tracker shares the same model as the Suppressed Pistol, but features a unique red and white paint job.
- While the sound is very similar, the Shadow Tracker does not use the same firing sound as the Suppressed Pistol.
