— In-Game Description

The Shadow Tracker is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 5. It is the Exotic version of the Suppressed Pistol.

The Shadow Tracker is functionally identically to the Suppressed Pistol when looking at suppressor mechanics and usage. However, the unique feature of the Shadow Tracker is that hitting an opponent will 'mark' their location for every member of the squad. It does not highlight their outline like a shakedown, but provides a marker above the location of the attacked enemy, for the same amount of time as a shakedown.

This weapon can only be obtained by purchasing it through Power Chord, who is found in Apres Ski. You can obtain this weapon by trading 400 Bars with her. There can be 4 of them in the same game if you or somebody else purchases the weapon, but it can be obtained by eliminating another player like every other item.

The Shadow Tracker deals 29 damage per shot (195.75 Damage per second). The Shadow Tracker uses Light Ammo - Icon - Fortnite.png Light Ammo and has a Headshot Multiplier of 2.0x.

This section outlines a strategy. Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.

  • The Shadow Tracker benefits greatly from a fast trigger finger. If you can fire the weapon quickly, you can output significant DPS, especially when landing headshots.
  • The marking feature is incredibly useful for any engagement, as having a regular sight on where the enemy is exactly can aid with firing through structures and hitting the opponent, as well as knowing exactly when an enemy is going to peek from cover.

  • The Shadow Tracker is modeled after the Belgian/American FN FNX.
  • It has a white and red finish, which looks very similar to the Candy Cane wrap, although it doesn't follow the same pattern.
