Shimmering Shrine was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Chapter 3: Season 4 to the island Artemis. It can be found just south of Herald's Sanctum, and is the result of the Chrome consuming Shuffled Shrines.

Update v22.00: Shuffled Shrines' southern half has been consumed by the Chrome and has turned the location into Shimmering Shrine.
Update v22.10: The southern half of Shimmering Shrine has been covered by the Chrome even further.
Fracture: Shimmering Shrine, like the rest of Artemis, was destroyed by The Herald.
