The Side Feed SMG is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite: Battle Royale that has never been added into the game.

Functionality

The Side Feed SMG functions similar to other SMGs, being a fast firing, close range weapon. The Side Feed SMG can hurt targets at longer ranges, but due to weapon spread and damage drop off it is exceedingly weak.

Trivia

• The Side Feed SMG is possibly based on The Pepper Sprayer from Save the World.
  • Due to this, it very likely resembles the Sterling Mk.4.
  • This is known as many things line up internally between the two. such as the icon naming, stat row naming, the Item ID's, and much more. Along with this it is the only weapon in its set to not be a direct copy of a released BR weapon, further implying it to be originally from BR but later scrapped.
• A popular post on X suggests that the Side Feed SMG could of been shot while airborne and/or while in a Slipstream.
  • This is false as nothing suggests the weapon could do that, along with the creator of the post never providing evidence.
• This gun was never added into the files, however, it seemed close to ready as it had stats, loot data, and more.
