Sleepy Sound was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was first released in Chapter 3: Season 1. It is located Northeast of Shifty Shafts and North of Coney Crossroads. It is a coastal town with houses, shops, and a restaurant called Sticks.

History[]

Chapter 3: Season 1[]

Update v19.00: Sleepy Sound was added to the Artemis island, fully covered with snow.
- January 10th: The snow partially melted on the western side of Sleepy Sound.
- January 13th: The snow is halfway through melting Sleepy.
- January 16th: The snow which had covered the location completely melted.

Chapter 3: Season 2[]

Update v20.00: Southern Sleepy Sound taken over by the Imagined Order.
Content Update v20.10: An ice cream truck crashed nearby, with Peely driving it. Peely now spawns here
Help The Seven Reclaim: The Seven reclaimed Sleepy Sound.

Chapter 3: Season 3[]

Update v21.00: Fishstick can be found here as a Character.
Content Update v21.20: A Reality Root has appeared at Sleepy Sound. The northern part of Sleepy Sound is now a Landmark as Sleepy Shrubs.

Chapter 3: Season 4[]

Update v22.10: Sunken Suburbs has been taken over by the Chrome. The south part of Sleepy Sound is being prepared to be taken to the skies by No Sweat Insurance.
Update v22.20: Sleepy Sound was replaced by Shiny Sound.

Trivia[]

This location resembles several points of interest from the past, It's a commercial area and a residential neighborhood like Retail Row, there's a redesigned motel, the rectangular layout is similiar to Pleasant Park and there's a Sticks restaurant like Craggy Cliffs and is on the same coordinates as Craggy Cliffs. It also slightly resembles Believer Beach, since it is on a shoreline and the motel is in a similar place to where the hotel was.
The Fishstick that appears in Sticks is the Snapshot as the original Fishstick died in The Bridge at the end of Chapter 2: Season 6 in Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point.
