Solid Gold is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced on February 27th, 2018.
LTM Rules and Gameplay
In this LTM, the only available weapons comes in Legendary rarity. This means that you will never find the below average stats. Additionally, every Chest that spawns is a Rare Chest and only contain Legendary . Non-legendary items still spawn, such as Bandages and Shield Potions. Resource multipliers and ammo pickup rates have also increased for this LTM.
Players are unable to Fish, and a lot of weapons have returned from The Vault.

Strategy Guide
In this gamemode, do not spend any time gathering loot if you already have an ideal loadout. It is best to always stay close to the middle of the storm circle as much as possible.
Trivia
- This LTM also became a variation of Team Rumble.
- Due to restrictions on Launcher Ammo, Launchers in this mode drop more Ammo than the player can carry.
- The Spire Jump Boots could be found in this game mode in Chapter 2: Season 6 for eliminating a spire guardian and taking their loot to The Spire.
