- Spaghetti Grotto's name and theme pays homage to the song "Lose Yourself" by Eminem, specifically the lyrics: "There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti.".
- Spaghetti Grotto could also be based on the real life 'Mom's Spaghetti' restaurant that is owned by Eminem himself. [1]
- There are 2 versions of The Nothing's TV arts in Spaghetti Grotto. One has a pair of eyes while the other one does not.
- The Hollywood-esque sign outside of Spaghetti Grotto is likely a reference to Eminem's song Say Goodbye to Hollywood.
