The Spire Cult is a cult dedicated to The Spire who usurped the Imagined Order. They first appeared in Chapter 2: Season 6, and haven't been active since Chapter 2: Season 7.
Overview[]
The Spire Cult is a cult that appeared after Zero Crisis Finale from another Reality after Salty Towers and Colossal Coliseum were turned to primal locations. They were active until the end of Chapter 2: Season 6. They came to revere The Spire for the powers it gave them and proclaimed themselves as its guardians. They built the Dark Village and laid out the Guardian Towers. Although they all wield evil energy, they remain in control of their minds unlike Glyph Master Raz. All of the members have chromium armor which is surprisingly very technologically advanced in addition to using dark magic. The members of the Spire Cult split into 2 groups, the Inners who protect The Spire and the Outers who protect the Guardian Towers.

History[]
Chapter 2: Season 6[]
Doctor Slone and other IO members take refuge in different realities, leaving The Bridge abandoned and empty. The Spire Cult mysteriously appeared from another reality[2] and created a cult based on The Spire and Guardian Towers. During the process, they built a village around the tower, appropriated the IO logo from the ruins of Colossal Coliseum, now known as Colossal Crops, as their own and started doing sacrifices[3] and dark rituals involving dark magic[4]. They also prevented anyone to get near The Spire to avoid people from being corrupted [5], but they utimately failed when Raz got corrupted and became Glyph Master Raz, who defeated Spire Assassin and took over The Spire in the process.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
After the destruction of The Spire caused by The Last Reality, the cult disappeared and has not been seen since.
Trivia[]
- The Spire Cult may be an in-game example of a real world phenomenon known as a Cargo Cult, where a group of people see technology they don't understand and try to replicate it. This theory is backed up by evidence of the Guardian's Pendant sporting an IO logo, along with their armor being made from the same material as The Spire.
- It is possible that The Spire became corrupted because of their use of Dark Magic.
