Springfield Island was the Fortnite: Battle Royale map that served as the main island of Chapter 6: Mini Season 2.
Storyline[]
Chapter 6: Season 4[]
Welcome, Our Alien Overlords[]
During the event, the Dark Presence from Oninoshima had sent the flying saucer containing Kang, Kodos, Jones, and Hope into an inter-reality wormhole. As Kodos attempted to recalibrate the wormhole to reach Springfield, Hope wrestles with Kodos to redirect it back toward Oninoshima, resulting in an unforeseen incident — the creation of a reality with attributes of Reality: 783 merged with attributes of Springfield's Reality, followed by the creation of Springfield Island.

- Hope and Kodos' fight in an inter-reality wormhole led to the fusion of Oninoshima, Springfield, and a number of other realities into one. Springfield Island is created as a result.

November 11th 2025
- Homer Simpson thought it'd be a great idea to use the power of the Zero Point on a donut-shaped cloud to make it rain donuts.
- Numerous frosted sprinkled donuts can be found littered around the map.
- A Donut Storm may form on the Island after a Storm phase.
- Giant donuts fall from the sky and destroy any buildings or players underneath.
- They can bounce around or get embedded in the ground.
- They may have chests on them.

November 19th 2025
- Homer Simpson attempted to discard the Zero Point Shard by throwing it into the only trash bin he knows — a radioactive fuel pool in the Nuclear Power Plant's core. This causes a chemical reaction that overruns Springfield Island with Zero Point energy:
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant is now constantly erupting. Due to the effects of the Zero Point Shard, the Nuclear Plant is now an established low-gravity zone.
- Cletus' Corn Hole is now glowing pink, with the Zero Point energy seeping into the crops there.
- Lake Springfield and neighboring bodies of water are now laced with Zero Point energy, turning them pink.
- Entering the water grants bursts of Zero Point Dash.
- A countdown activated in the middle of Springfield Town Square.
November 19th 2025 (08:00 ET)
- A giant cloud fused with Zero Point energy appeared near the Springfield Island.
November 21st 2025
- The giant cloud starts resembling Homer Simpson, curled up in a fetal position.
November 23rd 2025
- The Homer Simpson cloud becomes more defined.
November 25th 2025
- The giant cloud coalesces into a giant version of Homer Simpson.
- Springfield Town Square is partially damaged amidst Homer's rampage, destroying the King Toot's Music Store.
- Homer can now be found off the Island and into the ocean.
- For one hour at a time, all Storm zones were changed to be in the shape of the number 7.
- KBBL Radio Towers are disabled during this time.
