Sixth Perk: Eliminating an enemy creates a damage cloud of steam. This can only occur every 5 seconds.

Adjusting the graphic settings will either cause this affect to be visible or invisible.
The "Cloud of Steam" is a 0.5 tile radius Affliction Area of Effect that lasts for 3 seconds. Any affliction-based modifiers also applies to foes inside the steam cloud.
Their damage and crit stats can be buffed by hero/squad bonuses and the perks on the weapon itself (for damage, calculate the damage through Tech scaling first, and then add the % damage increases. Crit perks work as they do with anything else.) |
