Stormtrooper Checkpoints were Unnamed Locations in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Update v20.30 to the island Artemis.

There were three of them on the map, and were added in Update v20.30 as a part of the May the 4th Celebration. Each checkpoint was a small setup of equipment and supplies, and hosts two Imperial Stormtrooper Characters.

Update v20.30: Added three Stormtrooper Checkpoints around the map near Broadcast Bunker, Shrouded Settlement, and Sleepy Sound.
Update v20.40: Removed all Stormtrooper Checkpoints.

Update v22.30: Stormtrooper Chackpoints have returned in three new locations for Skywalker Week. They can be found near Greasy Grove, west of Tilted Towers, and south of Grim Gables. Each has two Stormtroopers patrolling the area.
November 8th 2022: All three checkpoints remain, but the stormtroopers have been removed.
Fracture: All remaining checkpoints were destroyed along with the rest of Artemis by The Herald.
