Stranger Things (alternatively known as Hawkins) is a Map in Blitz Royale that was added in Update v38.11 as part of a collaborative event between Fortnite and Stranger Things. It is an island based on the town Hawkins from the show, Stranger Things.
The map is split into two halves: the west side is in the normal sunset state of Blitz maps, and the east side, known as the Upside Down, was shrouded in nighttime and covered in Mind Flayer tendrils. The Mind Flayer itself could have been seen in the Upside Down in the distance on the horizon.

November 21st 2025
- Stranger Things was added, replacing Asteria Awakened.
Update v39.00
November 29th 2025
- The Battle Bus was destroyed, making Blitz Royale inaccessible.
December 5th 2025
- Stranger Things returned with the newly added map rotation for Blitz Royale, alongside Starfall Island.
Update v39.20
January 9th 2026
- Stranger Things was replaced by Asteria Awakened in the map rotation.
