The Striker Pump Shotgun is a Shotgun in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 3: Season 1.
Functionality[]
The Striker Pump Shotgun is a slow firing, high damage shotgun. It is deadly at close range with a tight spread, but fires slowly to compensate. It is very weak at medium to long ranges.

- This shotgun has a slower fire rate than many other shotguns. If you are reloading this shotgun, make sure to check for opponents that can possibly attack you.
- One odd thing about the Striker Pump Shotgun is that it's fire rate is slower than the Pump Shotgun, but it's pull out time is FASTER. This creates a weird sensation where the weapon will feel delayed when firing after pulling it out, especially in situations such as pulling out the Striker Pump Shotgun after editing a structure in Builds playlists.
- A fast-firing weapon to follow up to is recommended, such as a submachine gun or assault weapon, as the Striker Pump Shotgun is quite slow to shoot and is rather unpredictable at medium distances, sometimes dealing very low damage. A good strategy is to fire the Striker Pump Shotgun to do a lot of damage then following up with a fast firing weapon to eliminate your enemy.
- The Striker Pump Shotgun is incapable of quickly destroying structures due to its extremely lowered structure damage.
- It is best to pair the Striker Pump Shotgun with a Stinger SMG which can be used to quickly break builds, switch to the pump for high initial damage, and switching back to the SMG to finish the enemy.
- The Striker Pump Shotgun is a very powerful shotgun in Battle Royale, at the cost of having a low fire rate and small ammo capacity of five rounds.

- The Striker Pump Shotgun is essentially a slower-firing, weaker body-shot, tighter pellet spread version of the Pump Shotgun. While the Striker Pump Shotgun may be more consistent due to its tighter pellet spread, most engagements will be lost when going against a Pump Shotgun.
