Surface Hub IO-F4 was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Update v15.00. It can be found under Corny Complex (previously Colossal Coliseum). It was removed in Update v16.00 and was added back in Update v17.00, now bigger and in a different style. In Update v18.00 the remnants of it after its abduction remain in the ground at Corny Crops.

Chapter 2: Season 5[]
- Update v15.00: Surface Hub IO-F4 was added to the map.
- Update v15.40: A server was added to Surface Hub IO-F4 for a quest.
Chapter 2: Season 6[]
- Update v16.00: The entrance has been closed making it inaccessible.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
- Update v17.00: Surface Hub IO-F4 returned, much bigger and in a different style.
- Update v17.50: Doctor Slone and IO Guards are now patrolling Corny Complex outside, making the Surface Hub abandoned.
- September 6th 2021: Surface Hub IO-F4 got abducted and is now inside a floating island.
- September 12th: Surface Hub IO-F4 got destroyed during the explosion in The Mothership.
Chapter 2: Season 8[]
- Update v18.00: Surface Hub IO-F4 is now simply a crater (or likely multiple craters) in the ground.
Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Update v19.00: Surface Hub IO-F4 has been removed after being flipped and submerged underwater.

- Surface Hub IO-F4 used to activate a PA system whenever an elevator has risen to the surface. The PA is louder when a Elevator has risen nearby, this can be useful for finding IO Guard Spawns.
- Surface Hub IO-F4 is the only Surface Hub to return during Chapter 2: Season 7, with Surface Hub IO-D1 and Surface Hub IO-E6 remaining closed.
- The Lab Dungeon from Fortnite: Save the World reuses a lot of exterior assets from Surface Hub IO-F4.
