The Surgefire SMG is very suitable for breaking cover or builds due to its large magazine and high fire rate once ramped.
The best way to use the Surgefire SMG in a fight is to sneak up on an enemy and fire the first few unramped shots, allowing you to let the fire rate ramp, and finish off your opponent.
The Surgefire SMG, due to its accuracy increase with sustained fire, is very good when hipfired.

The Surgefire SMG is very weak at range, so keeping an engagement to mid range can be beneficial when fighting an opponent wielding a Surgefire SMG.

The Surgefire SMG is a fictional weapon that mixes the FN P90's top loading bullpup design with the Calico Submachine Gun's helical shaped magazine.
The Surgefire SMG shares the same firing SFX as the Modular Thunder Burst SMG.
The weapon, alongside other Chapter 6: Season 1 weapons, loses its magazine when placed as an interactable object in Creative/UEFN Maps such as the Chapter 5 Modular weapons do, nix the Drum Mag and Sniper Scope on the Modular Drum Gun and Reaper Modular Sniper Rifle respectively, suggesting that it was once planned to be moddable.
