This trap has low durability and uses more of it when its flame is activated. However, because it holds almost all husks in place for a few seconds, it is extremely useful for slowing down their pace.

Is It Worth Using?[]
Tar Pits stop enemies in place similar to the Wooden Floor Spikes, except devastate them with an elemental blow of fire when triggered by shrapnel (not recommended).
Much like the Wooden Floor Spikes, each enemy that steps into the Tar Pit takes away 1 durability each. This is why it is recommended to run all Durability perks on it, since this trap has very low base durability.
