For the Victory Royale, 42 points were rewarded. Every Elimination granted a duo 1 point. Other placements ranged from 1 to 36 points. See all of them on the Official Rules page.
For this tournament, it was best to value living as long as you could over getting as many eliminations as possible, as 42 eliminations were needed to match the Victory Royale.
