The Agency

Template:Infobox location The Agency is a named location in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It is a large building with a helipad located on an island in the center of the map.

Location

The Agency was located in the center of the map, where the Eye Land once stood in Chapter 2: Season 1. It is southwest of Frenzy Farm, a bit to the southeast of Salty Springs. It was located on the island on the lake that has many rivers flowing to it and motorboats.

Appearance

The Agency was an operating spy base and formerly a property of GHOST, but it is now part of SHADOW. It consists of a tall building and a helipad. There is a big opening which is one way to enter the building. You can look around and find many staircases. There is a statue and E.G.O (GHOST) logos dotting the outside.

As of The Device Live Event, the Agency's center building has been destroyed, and a glowing pink pool is in the center. The GHOST logo and statue can no longer be seen

The Agency is built on Eye Island.

Midas' chair has been taken from the briefing room and has appeared west on a boat.

A Choppa has been added to the helipad (It is sometimes glitched).

Hatches have appeared around The Agency. The chair where Midas' golden chair originally was has been replaced with a white one.

v12.40

The hatches have begun to glow purple.

v12.60

• May 20th: Clouds have formed around The Agency.
• May 23rd: Bubbles have appeared at the hatches around The Agency.
• June 15th: A.L.T.E.R. takes over The Agency after The Device has concluded, turning Midas SHADOW and replacing the GHOST Henchmen with SHADOW Henchmen.

Trivia

• It was added in Chapter 2: Season 2.
• It replaced Eye Land, a location on the Chapter 2: Season 1 map.
• It is E.G.O./GHOST's base of operation.
• The boss Midas can be found in the building. You can fight him. He is holding a golden Drum Gun, matching with his body and an ID card. When you kill him, you can obtain the ID card and are able to get to an underground vault with many chests and a supply drop.
• There are 5 hatches underwater beneath The Agency. They are making a Doomsday Device.
• It is possible that it is Loot Lake, considering its position.
• The Agency has SHADOW Henchmen and gold railings in the Chapter 2: Season 2 story trailer.
  • This may hint a drastic change.
• In patch v12.60, the mesh files for the SHADOW Agency were removed.
• The Agency's Choppa is sometimes glitched.
• After the Doomsday Live Event, the Agency was destroyed.
• In Chapter 2: Season 3, A.L.T.E.R. and Jules reconstructed The Agency and it is now The Authority.
