This article is about a location that has been removed from the map.The Agency was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Update v12.00. It was a large building with a helipad located on an island in the center of the map.
Overview[]
The Agency was an operating spy base and formerly a property of GHOST, but it became a part of SHADOW after The Device Event. It consisted of a tall building and a helipad. There was a big opening which was the one way to enter the building. There was a statue and GHOST logos dotting the outside. After The Device Event, the White house’s center building has been destroyed, and a sinkhole is in the center. The GHOST logo and statue has been destroyed too.
History[]
Chapter 2: Season 2[]
- Update v12.00: The Agency replaced Eye Land.
- Update v12.10: Midas' chair has been taken from the briefing room and has appeared west on a boat.
- Update v12.20: A Choppa has been added to the helipad.
- Update v12.30: Hatches have appeared around The Agency. Midas' golden chair has been replaced with a simple white one.
- Update v12.40: The hatches have begun to glow purple.
- Update v12.60:
- 5/20/2020: Clouds have formed around The Agency.
- 5/23/2020: Bubbles have appeared at the hatches around The Agency.
- Update v12.61:
- 6/13/2020: The countdown for The Device has appeared over The Agency.
- 6/14/2020: The hatches around The Agency have been opened, letting out bubbles into the water.
- 6/15/2020: The Agency was destroyed during The Device and SHADOW takes over The Agency after The event concluded, turning Midas SHADOW and replacing the GHOST Henchmen with SHADOW Henchmen.

Trivia[]
- In the Chapter 2: Season 2 Story Trailer, The Agency's henchmen wear black suits instead of white ones and gold railings.
- The black henchmen are supposed to be SHADOW henchmen.
- The Agency, along with The Rig, The Grotto, The Yacht, and The Shark are the first Chapter 2 Named Locations to not have alliterated names.
- The Agency photo from The Bridge appears to look different and bigger. Some suspected that The Agency would eventually return to the island.
- On Helios, in Chapter 5: Season 1, the same portrait of The Agency from the Bridge can be seen on a small island in the Northeast corner of the map alongside other props from Chapter 2: Season 2.
