The Herald's Leer (Decal) - Spray - Fortnite This article is about a location that has been removed from the map.

Their weapon, codenamed The Collider, will reach critical mass sooner than expected. If we don't stop it, all life on the island gets wiped out. Our only hope is to act now. Oh, and the worse news... their weapon incorporates The Zero Point. They're using creation energy to destroy.
The Scientist

The Collider was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Chapter 3: Season 2. It was located east of Loot Lake and west of Coney Crossroads. It was constructed and built for the Collision Live Event.

Overview[]

The Collider was a sizable metallic tower with an energy beam shooting through it in the middle of the building. There were 4 IO Launchpads on each end of The Tower. Several IO Bases were stationed within the area, with giant walls surrounding the location. It was guarded by Doctor Slone, Huntmaster Saber and IO Guards.

Underground, the Collider had an extension leading up to The Bridge that was accessible through a staircase, surrounded by barricades, elevators and Fortresses coming out of the walls.

Lore[]

The Collider was a large doomsday device planned by Geno. It was made to detonate The Zero Point, which would annihilate everything in Reality Zero. To do this, the mechanism would collide The Zero Point with the 4 golden crystals located at the lower part of the device, destroying The Zero Point and creating a reality ending sequence. After the crystals underneath it were destroyed, The Collider began to collapse.
