Item Shop Appearances[]

The Dealer has appeared with the Dealer's Choice Bundle in 7 different Item Shops on 6 different days.

Bundled with the Dealer's Choice Bundle
Why are there shops labelled as 'parts'?
For varying reasons, Epic Games may decide to add or remove items from the Item Shop before the usual rotation occurs. The Fortnite Wiki treats each change to the Item Shop within a single day as a separate 'part' that makes up the day's Item Shop History.
Why are there two different numbers for The Dealer's appearances?
The Dealer has, on at least one occasion, appeared in more than one shop in a single day. This has resulted in its count for appearances in the Item Shop being higher than the amount of days it has appeared in it. Both counts are listed by the Fortnite Wiki in order to be as accurate as possible, unlike other sources.

Trivia[]

  • The Dealers' Boss Outfit ID is Character_RhombCamo_NPC.
    • The style selection is largely the same compared to the Release Outfit in Chapter 4: Season OG, though it lacks the Reactive option and the names are more simplified such as Clubs Dealer, Hearts Dealer, and Spades Dealer simply being Clubs, Hearts, and Spades. Along with the exceptions of Diamonds Dealer being Default and Commanding Card being Cyan.
  • Like Low Cards their names are a reference to cards games, "dealer" being the name given to the player who deals the cards therefore referring to their rank in Eclipse.
  • The Dealers are the first Bosses since Chapter 2: Season 2 to audibly use Walkie Talkies when speaking.
    • Additionally. The Dealers can be heard transmitting and receiving info from the Low Cards within their Idle Voicelines.
  • The Commanding Cards were the only Dealer Bosses to not have voicelines or combat music. This also goes for their specific Low Cards likely due to replacing the Highcards and Wild Card Suits.
  • The Clubs Dealers and Commanding Cards were simply referred to as The Dealer as Bosses. They were later renamed for the Outfit.

Lore[]

Control the deck.
— Outfit Description

The Dealers are the elite agents of Eclipse recruited by Kado Thorne to protect him, his collections, vaults, and Forecast Towers. They also serve as staff members at Thorne's resorts. The Dealers are divided into 5 classes: Diamonds Dealers, Hearts Dealers, Clubs Dealers, Spades Dealers, and Commanding Cards, all of which have full command over the Low Cards.

They are supporting antagonists in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as major antagonists of Chapter 4: Season 4.

Appearence[]

Each Dealer is clad in a very intricately detailed white or black tail coat suit with a vest underneath that displays their card symbol in place of a tie (If the Dealer were based on a card) whilst also wearing long pants and laceless leather shoes. Their hands and head are further covered in gloves and a balaclava, concealing any visible skin from view with a wide LED mask on their faces displaying their symbol.

Timeline[]

Chapter 4: Season 4[]

  • Kado Thorne arrived on the Island and built his resorts under the Eclipse brand. He distributed his collection in his resorts to protect himself and his collection from his numerous enemies. He deployed gigantic security means and recruited the Low Cards as well as The Dealers to act as staff and protect the resorts, the Slap Factory, Rumble Ruins and the Tiger Tower of MEGA City, the latter three having been bought by Eclipse.
  • After the Time Machine was stolen and Kado Thorne was defeated at the hands of The Looper and Shimmerdusk, the fate of The Dealers became unknown.

Lore Trivia[]

  • Although they were very limited in number as Bosses, The Dealers were shown to be more numerous in numbers through Loading Screens and the Chapter 4: Season 4 Cinematic Trailer.
  • Although the Dealers were only henchmen, they were much stronger than the strongest henchmen of other factions such as the IO Guards of the Imagined Order and the Legion Elites of The Society.
