The Explorers are an exploring and research-based faction first was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 2. They are typically led by various people from several different factions, and do not presently have any direct enemies.

History[]
Chapter 4: Season 2[]
The Explorers set up excavation camps at cracks site to study The Rumbles. The Luminaries investigate them, and team up to study the seismic activity together[1].
Chapter 4: Season 3[]
After the Jungle appeared, The Explorers enacted Creeky Compound and began investigating the various ruins around the area, chiefly The Apparatus, which they send a Convoy to.
- They continue to be allied with The Luminaries to carry out research, with Trace serving as an intermediary between the two Factions. They can be found at The Apparatus as a Character.
- Slone and Guardian Amara joined them at an unknown time period and collaborate with Trace. They study the Kinetic Ore found in the Jungle[2].
- Aura teams with The Looper to study field notes written by The Explorers on the Chalice of Cubetastrophe, as part of the season's Snapshot Quests.
Update v25.10[]
The convoy reaches The Apparatus, and a rudimentary research camp is set up there, fit with various machinery, equipment, and supplies.
Chapter 4: Season 4[]
The research has slowed down on the island with the sudden introduction of Kado Thorne and his faction.
- Trace no longer spawns at The Apparatus.
- Slone has shifted her focus to stealing the Time Machine and thus does not appear to have continued work with The Explorers.
Chapter 4: Season OG[]
A Teddy Bear can be found with The Explorer's notes on the Chalice of Cubetastrophe with a jailed Gnome in Wailing Woods.
Chapter 5: Season 1[]
The new primary installation of The Explorers lies within the mountainous region of Helios, named Research Rock.
- A small research operations on the Coral Buddies warrants a small outpost and campsite.
Chapter 5: Season 2[]
New research camps were made near Lovely Lodge to monitor the arrival of The Wanderer.
Trivia[]
- Their logo is very similar to that of The Luminaries, garnering confusion among some players.
- Many of their machinery assets have been reused around Helios, primarily by the company known as Ship It!.
