The Thorn Ripper is a Melee Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 6: Season 4.
Functionality[]
The Thorn Ripper is a multi-functional tool used to attack opponents and also pull items towards the user. It has an attack cycle of 3 with the first two attacks dealing 50 damage and the 3rd hit dealing 80 damage with additional knockback in a combined total of 190 damage.
The Thorn Ripper's secondary attack which deals 60 damage and pulls opponents and teammates towards the user's location, which includes players out of Cars. The secondary attack can also pull items towards the user and can even pull items from Fishing Spots.
