Item Shop Appearances[]

Titan has appeared in 17 different Item Shops on 15 different days.

Why are there shops labelled as 'parts'?
For varying reasons, Epic Games may decide to add or remove items from the Item Shop before the usual rotation occurs. The Fortnite Wiki treats each change to the Item Shop within a single day as a separate 'part' that makes up the day's Item Shop History.
Why are there two different numbers for Titan's appearances?
Titan has, on at least one occasion, appeared in more than one shop in a single day. This has resulted in its count for appearances in the Item Shop being higher than the amount of days it has appeared in it. Both counts are listed by the Fortnite Wiki in order to be as accurate as possible, unlike other sources.

Lore[]

An ancient power from timeless myth.
— In-Game Description

The Titan is an ancient titan that lies dormant deep beneath the Island as well as the guardian of Pandora's Box. It first appeared in Chapter 5: Season 1 during the Pandora's Box Emergence event.

Appearance[]

The titan is a gigantic humanoid cosmic being with detached arms, detached legs and no mouth. The upper parts of its body appears as a transparent body containing stars and a spiral galaxy. There are Rifts and scars all over its body and it also seems to be wearing a broken spartan armor.

Powers and Abilities[]

Keeper of Pandora's Box
Immortality
Due to being a Titan, Titan possesses immortality.

History[]

Eons Ago[]

According to the myths, the Titans were once the ruling gods under Cronus, however after a war between the Olympians and the Titans called the Titanomachy, Zeus dethroned his father and banished the Titans, imprisoning most of them in the Underworld in Tartarus. The Olympians became the ruling Pantheon. Later, for unspecified reason, Titan became the guardian of Pandora's Box.

Post Big Bang[]

At an unspecified time period, Titan along with Pandora's Box and other pieces of his reality ended in Helios.

Chapter 5: Season 1[]

The Hand was awoken by Valeria's attempt to open the Pandora's Box. The hand was alive for a minute before going back to dormant state.

Chapter 5: Season 2[]

At the beginning of the season, The Titan's hand collapsed on the ground.

Trivia[]

  • Based on the size of his forearm, Titan appears much larger than the rest of his kin.
    • Giant weapons are found in both Olympus and Underworld, presumed to be remnants of the Titans' weapons during the Titanomachy, being far too large for Olympians, but being ridiculously small for Titan.
  • As his real name has not been revealed and his role is not that of a known Titan in mythology, its unknown if he is an original fortnite character or based on mythology.
    • Based on his connection to Pandora's Box, Titan might actually be Epimetheus, the brother of Prometheus who was offered Pandora, the first mortal to possess many qualities, by Zeus in the myths.
    • Based on his connection to fire, Titan might also be Prometheus, who was known as a Titan God of fire. In mythology Prometheus is best known for defying the Olympian gods by taking fire from them and giving it to humanity in the form of technology, knowledge and, more generally, civilization.
    • Based on his connection with heaven and sky, and appearing to have been punished by having to keep Pandora's Box, he might actually be Atlas the brother of Prometheus and Epimetheus who was condemned to hold up the heavens or sky for eternity in Libya after the Titanomachy in mythology.
      • Titan's codename, NebulaBurden appears to be a reference to Atlas, and seems to support the fact that he was punished.
      • In Fortnite, it's known that myths are very often inaccurate, Atlas' punishment of having to carry heaven and sky might be false as well and might have instead be punished to become Pandora's Box guardian.
