— Iron Man

Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark, also known as Iron Man, is a major character in Fortnite: Battle Royale during Chapter 2: Season 4.

History[]

Nexus War: Thor[]

As Galactus felt the reality shift during The End, and started to travel towards its source, The Zero Point, in order to consume it and become even more powerful. Thor arrived on the island through the Bifrost to warn its inhabitants of the upcoming threat, and summoned Tony Stark, Doctor Doom, She-Hulk, Wolverine, Storm, and Groot. S.H.I.E.L.D. also made an appearance, and provided Quinjets and Helicarrier 64 to aid in the mission.

Chapter 2: Season 4[]

The Imagined Order allowed the superheroes to settle in on the island and fight back against Galactus, who was visible at-the-time as a red dot in the sky, as all of reality was at stake. Following Tony Stark's arrival, he got to work right away, establishing a small base of operations in a disused farm house and developing Rift Beacons. Stark placed the beacons around Frenzy Farm, and succeeded in his task, bringing a huge chunk of Upstate New York containing Stark Industries to the island. Stark utilized its high-tech research facilities and resources to upgrade the battle buses, fitting guns and gamma cells onto them. He then proceeded to use The Loop to clone the modified battle buses around 1 billion times. Stark also used the Rift Beacons to transport other superheroes to the island, such as Ant-Man and Black Panther (although the latter likely did not appear due to the passing of Chadwick).

The Devourer of Worlds[]

When Galactus finally arrived to the island, he used his powerful abilities to rip The Zero Point out from The Bridge and began to absorb its power. However, The Zero Point seemed to have fought back, and violently pulled the tendrils of energy Galactus was absorbing back into it. This process cracked The Zero Point, and it pulled the entire island into The In-Between. In the ensuing battle, Galactus was tricked into swallowing the battle buses, and the gamma cells were promptly detonated, injuring Galactus and sending him through a rift.

Following the event The Zero Point stabilized the island and reorganized the matter around itself into a desert, bringing in locations from the past as well. However, despite this, The Zero Point's outer shell was cracked, and it soon began to destabilize like in Season X. Following the battle, the superheroes left the island along with any of their traces.

In the Chapter 3: Season 2 trailer, Tony Stark is seen in his Iron Man suit along side Doctor Strange, entering the island through a portal.

Audio Description
Hey, welcome to the party.
You look like someone who needs a jetpack.
Here ya go!
We gotta stop Galactus from eating the Zero Point.
You are free, right?
Oooh! He's getting right to it! Okay. Energy readings are going berserk.
By my calculations if Galactus keeps absorbing the Zero Point at that rate, uh, we'll all be looking at a full reality collapse in--
Doesn't matter. You know, the point is we gotta move.
You can drive a Battle Buss, right?
Beginning transport... now!
And away we go!
Okay, so i took the liberty of tinkering with your reality a bit. It's really no big deal, you can thank me later.
I hacked your time loop thingy, made a few billion Battle Bus clones, and then turned them all into very powerful bombs.
We need to get Galactus to eat as many buses as possible before he's done with the Zero Point.
If everything goes right, it'll open a portal and send him back where he came from.
Hey, look. Attack Drones!
Cute. You know, i was hoping we'd have an excuse to try out the Battle Bus's laser cannons.
Give 'em a try.
Oh! Almost forgot. Your lasers won't do much to the big guy, but they should make short work of those drones.
Look at that! You're a natural! Stay on target and don't explode.
How's the handling on that thing? I didn't really get the chance to test it, eh, so it might be a little... uh... like a bus. Bus-like.
I admire that enthusiasm, but again you are driving a bomb so let's be careful out there.
Wow. That i really beautiful. Also really bad.
We need to get him off the Zero Point now.
Okay, this is funny. Don't panic but i think he spotted you.
Hey, Blondie! Got a bus over here that's getting a little hot.
Plain English, Ren Faire.
Driver, we're taking you up his arm.
Just Keep flying north and try not to let it freak you out. Okay?
Bad news. Galactus? Definitely out to get you.
Good news. I got the stereo working.

You did it!
Thank you, bus driver!
