The Twin Mag SMG is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 4: Season 1.

Twin Mag SMG has an Exotic version called Heisted Blink Mag SMG.

Functionality[]

The Twin Mag SMG is a fast-firing submachine gun which has two magazines attached to one another, meaning every other reload is faster.

The Twin Mag SMG is a hitscan weapon. It does not have First Shot Accuracy enabled, and will always fire a random spread of bullets, which increases with continuous fire. This spread is decreased whilst crouching.

The Twin Mag SMG can be reloaded whilst aiming.

The Twin Mag SMG has a deadly combination of one of the highest DPS in the game, and being one of the most accurate SMG's in the game, making it easy to eliminate an opponent at close-mid range very quickly.
When your next reload is slower, you can reload the weapon at any time even on a full magazine, so reload it before entering combat. Keep in mind however, that this is at the cost of only having 20 rounds per magazine.

The Twin Mag SMG runs through its magazine very quickly, so running a weapon with a larger magazine, or keeping distance between yourself and an opponent using a Twin Mag SMG can both be effective counters.

Like the MK-Seven Assault Rifle and Maven Auto Shotgun, the Twin Mag SMG uses the same aesthetic as members of The Seven, with its blue, red, and brown color scheme.
Before the launch of Chapter 4: Season 4, you had to fire at least one bullet to reload, even on a slow reload.
The Twin Mag SMG is one of the highest damaging, fastest firing, and fastest reloading Submachine Guns in the entire game, making it very powerful in the right hands.
An early version of the Twin Mag SMG can be found in a leaked Development Build during Chapter 3: Season 3:
- Was called Muster Quick SMG.
- Didn't have an in-game description.
- Its placeholder icon is based of the Rapid Fire SMG.
- It uses the model of the Rapid Fire SMG.
- Had very different stats.
