Jump into The Big Bang — Fortnite's next live event — on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2 PM ET! This event marks a new beginning for Fortnite and features an appearance by Eminem.
How to Join the Event[]
- The Big Bang is a Fortnite event starting Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2 PM ET. The experience will be available in the Battle Royale tile in Discover 30 minutes prior, so you can jump in before the event starts to gear up with any of your cosmetics.
- Invite your friends: the event supports parties of up to four players!
- Won't be near a dedicated gaming device during the event? The Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, and Amazon Luna services let you play Fortnite via cloud streaming on your computer or mobile device!
Keep the event center stage in your memory — all players who attend the event will receive the The Big Bang Loading Screen:
With downtime for v28.00 starting at 11:30 PM ET on December 2, content creators and players looking to relive the event should take steps to record and archive their experience.
Fortnite Experiences: Availability and Downtime[]
To prepare for The Big Bang, Fortnite experiences made by Epic will be disabled starting 12 PM ET on December 2. Creator-made experiences will remain enabled until downtime for Fortnite v28.00 starts at 11:30 PM ET.

The Big Bang Content Creation[]
Content creators in the Support-A-Creator (SAC) program will be able to host VOD content from The Big Bang event on YouTube and monetize it for seven days, and no takedown notifications should occur during this time. More info:
- In order to monetize their The Big Bang content, SAC members need to link their YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts.
- IMPORTANT: When uploading the content to YouTube, be sure to upload it as Unlisted or Public. If you upload the video as Private, it is possible you could receive a monetization claim on your video.
- For uploading the content on other platforms, refer to the channel's platform policies for tips on how to avoid copyright strikes.
Not in SAC? Don't worry, you can still share your highlights from the experience. However, you will not be able to monetize this content on YouTube.

Keep your fire BluGlo burning, Frostnite returns with new Weekly Challenges and icy rewards. Take on Krampus Smashers and frozen Husks to earn Holiday Heroes like The Ice King, cool weapon schematics, and Snowflake Tickets.
Trade in your tickets for festive Holiday Llamas that hold Holiday Heroes and Holiday Armory rewards. Check your Llamas regularly, because other themed loot-filled piñatas like Smorgasbord, Art Deco, and more will be making guest appearances throughout this festive Season!
Crackshot's Winterfest Ventures, Misfit Toys, and Red Willow's Eve questlines will be returning throughout the Venture Season. Complete them to earn the Crackshot, Jilly Teacup, and Red Willow Heroes respectively.
A New Frontier: The Frozen Fjords []
The v27.11 Nov 22 hotfix introduces a new winter-themed zone, the Frozen Fjords! Explore new locations like the snow-covered Chilly Cove, warm up by the fire in Crackshot's Neighborhood, or explore what's hidden beneath the ice at the Boreal Base.
Obtain The Slicicle And More[]
New to the Event Store is the Slicicle! Slice through Husks like a... cold knife… through butter? No that's not right, but with its fast attack speed combo, snare or stun enemies to leave them frozen solid.
Also returning to the Event Store is the Mythic Outlander Subzero Zenith. And be on the lookout every week for returning Winterfest Heroes and Schematics to the Weekly Store like the Monks, Cocoa .45, and the Snowball Launcher.
