'''Valor''' is a standalone [[Events (Save the World)|Event Questline]] in [[Fortnite: Save the World]] that was first added in [[Update v15.40]], and released on February 27th 2021. It is available during the [[Flannel Falls]] [[Ventures|Venture Season]], and rewards players with {{Tickets|Lunar|500}}, {{Resource|Gold|200}}, a {{Legendary}} [[Val]], and a {{Legendary}} [[Major Oswald]].

==[[Lore (Save the World)|Lore]]==
[[Major Oswald]] has lost his cool, and is scaring everyone off. He is deeply insecure about his heroic skills. The Crew brings back [[Val]], Major's old student to bring him back home by deploying loudspeakers.

Major opens up about feeling insecure about his hand, worrying that he's "rusty" without it and might be a liability. Val says that he'll become a part of her team, where everyone takes care of each other. Then, she and the Commander work together to gather electronic parts and craft him a makeshift hand. He reveals that he's nervous every time he goes into the field.

Lok comes up with a design for Major's prosthetic arm, prompting Ray to ask if Major is "super duper sure" he wants to stick with it. Major reassures him that he's certain, emphasizing that they should keep the design because it's Lok's work and they "should honor it." Ray remarks that "it's a fork and a knife," and Major chimes in, adding, "and a pile of circuits." Despite the teasing, he insists that he loves it and heads out to the battlefield to take down Husks. The experience gradually helps him regain his confidence.
