The Wall Dynamo was a Trap in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in the Pre Season.

Functionality[]

The Wall Dynamo was a damaging trap that could have been placed on any player-owned or neutral wall structure. When an opponent entered the tile a Wall Dynamo was placed on, the trap activated, dealing hefty damage.

Obtained[]

Wall Dynamos could have been obtained from a variety of places. They were found as floor loot, in chests, and in Supply Drops. They dropped in stacks of 1 and could stack infinitely.

Stats[]

Wall Dynamos dealt 125 damage. They had a 5 second reset time.

  • The Wall Dynamo could have been placed inside an enemy structure to catch them on it.
  • The Wall Dynamo could have been used to damage or eliminate an enemy by boxing them in with one, causing the trap to damage the enemy.
  • This trap made an audible buzz, so it could have been avoided by listening carefully. It also made a sort of toaster “ding” noise when first placed.

  • The Damage Trap serves as the replacement for the Wall Dynamo as well as the Ceiling Zapper as it is silent and can be placed on all surfaces.
