We The People were 2 Live Events that were shown on The Big Screen in Party Royale in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement and Voting, presented by ØPUS UNITED.

We The People

On July 4th, in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement, ØPUS UNITED presented a series of conversations that aimed to advance the dialogue around race in America with prominent BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) voices in business, sports, media, music, and entertainment.

It was hosted by Van Jones, who was joined by Elaine Welteroth, Jemele Hill and Lil Baby Van Jones and guests spoke about how to change systemic racism in media, culture and entertainment.

Following the Party Royale debut, We The People re-aired multiple times -- every other hour for 24 hours -- through the day of Saturday, July 4.

We The People x More Than A Vote

Then, a second event was held on July 28th 2020, this time about black voter suppression. Once again, ØPUS UNITED presented a series of conversations that this time aimed to bring together a coalition of athletes and entertainers to inspire and empower young adults to take action against the voter suppression crisis that is disproportionately impacting Black communities.
