Phases[]
Zeus is not initially patrolling Mount Olympus. Instead, he can be challenged by breaking his effigy thus triggering the fight.
The encounter is split into three phases:
Phase 1: DEFEAT ZEUS![]
Zeus appears in a bolt of lightning in front of his throne, brandishing his weapon and immediately attacking the player. During this phase, Zeus has 400/600/900/1100 Health and 400/600/900/1100 Shield and can use the following abilities:
- Thunderbolt of Zeus
- Jumps into the air and hurls a lightning bolt at the player, dealing 23 damage in a wide radius.
Phase 2: ELIMINATE THE MINIONS![]
Once Zeus' health is depleted he will kneel down, knocking away any player near him as he forms a protective Lightning Barrier around him. He then summons four Minions around the arena that need to be eliminated to progress into the next phase.
Phase 3: DEFEAT ZEUS![]
Zeus ascends into the air and absorbs the protective bubble, imbuing himself with lightning and growing in size, then lands back down and roars at the player. During this phase, Zeus has 450/650/1000/1300 Health and 450/650/1000/1300 Shield and gains the following abilities:
- Knockback Immunity
- After finishing his Rebirth sequence Zeus becomes impossible to push and knockback.
- Agility
- Zeus gains a light passive speed buff in this phase. Allowing him to move faster when needed.
- Lightning Slam
- Summons a large stationary electric field surrounding the location of the player, then leaps towards it slamming his fist down, dealing 7 AOE damage.

History[]
Before Chapter 5[]
Eons ago Zeus was a benevolent and generous god towards mortals, but from one day to the next, for reasons currently unknown to the people, he became distant with mortals and began to dislike them. [6]
Chapter 5: Season 1[]
A carving of Zeus can be found on Pandora's Box.
Chapter 5: Season 2[]
After the opening of Pandora's Box, Zeus, along with The Pantheon, arrived on the Helios Island. Zeus plans to end all mortalkind as punishment for opening the box and fearful of a prophecy foretold by The Oracle and his son Apollo detailing the end of his reign by a mortal's hand. He begins by taking out The Society for their opening of the box and their use of their medallions. Zeus' plan is to recruit the other gods to his side for the extermination of mortalkind. Meanwhile, some of the gods express that they do not share his ideals and stand up to him, such as his own daughter Aphrodite, who opposes him in everything[7]. The Looper is recruited by The Oracle as mortalkinds hero to unite the immortals against Zeus. After Cerberus and his son Ares got defeated by The Looper and Zeus heard of The Looper's works from Ares and Hades, the king of gods became mad and wrote on stone edicts sent to Olympians his intention to destroy The Looper as well as his plan to recruit allies.
Aphrodite later calls The Looper to join their side against Zeus. The Oracle, discovering that Zeus wishes to recruit Artemis, sends the Looper to get Artemis' attention before Zeus' words do. As his daughter Artemis considers this hunt for mortals immoral[8], she accepts to join The Looper. Poseidon, who assisted the Looper in cheering Aphrodite up[9] also disagrees with Zeus, and likewise Apollo himself, who tells his sister, Aphrodite, that the mortals deserve protection and expressed his support to her.[10]
Later, Zeus sends Cerberus to investigate The Looper's actions, but Hades's beloved dog chooses not to obey his order if The Looper helps him find an artifact that Hades secretly hid away for safekeeping during Zeus' tempest. Zeus' demigod son, Perseus, also declared support for mortals, siding with Medusa.[11]
Medusa calls upon The Looper, wanting to take back her property that Zeus stole from her a long time ago. While searching, they find an hourglass that was created by Hephaestus.[12] The Oracle tells The Looper that Olympians immortality isn't absolute and that the Stormforged Hourglass is his source, and that it can be destroyed. After destroying all the cracking Hourglasses, Medusa then explains that they were crafted with Zeus's own godly essence to increase his power and by destroying them, it weakened the god. With Zeus's godly essence that was inside the hourglasses, she crafted a charm that she gave to The Looper to empower them, before sending them destroy Zeus's Stormforged Hourglass, making him mortal and then confronting the king of gods in a death match that the god ultimately lost.
Dethroning the god, The Looper decided to spare Zeus's life, even though Zeus was seriously injured, and then allowed Hope to tag the logo of The Underground[13] on Zeus's former throne, to declare a new reign of freedom for Mount Olympus and the Island. However, Triage Trooper found Zeus, and decided to save him. [14]
Sandstorm Event[]
Zeus, wanting revenge imbued the statue of Mount Olympus with his power and used it to unleash some power from the Pandora's Box, which generated a sandstorm and attractedMegalo Don and his crew as well as The Wanderer on the Island.
Chapter 5: Season 3[]
Most of The Pantheon were banished from the Island.
Trivia[]
- According to The Oracle, when Zeus wants to kill someone, he does it without warning. However he didn't do it with The Looper, which surprised The Oracle.
- The reason has never been revealed, but it's possible that he was afraid that The Looper was the mortal of the prophecy and that by challenging them too soon, he gets defeated.
