Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 2: Season 7.

Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun is a Mythic version of the Kymera Ray Gun.

Functionality[]

Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun fires a continuous, 100% accurate red beam when used. It has infinite ammo and as such goes on cooldown after long periods of usage.

Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun Gun can continuously fire for 2.375 seconds or 38 shots before it overheats. This can be extended by waiting a bit between each shot.

Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun is a beam weapon, meaning its attack directly connects with a target (like hitscan), but it does not fire separate attacks when held, instead dealing rapid damage in one continuous attack. As such, First Shot Accuracy is irrelevant.

Trivia[]

Unlike its normal version, Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun emits a red ray.
It was originally removed after 1 hour of being in-game.
Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun is a nearly identical Futurama Reskin of the Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun prior to the September 20th 2023 Hotfix, with slight stat differences.
